Waymarked Walks

Slieve Bloom Way & Offaly Way

The Slieve Bloom Way and the Offaly Way are Waymarked Trails. These trails are paths that have been developed with the agreement and support of landowners whose lands are crossed on the route. The paths are marked with direction arrows. They pass through woodland and many deep and beautiful glens through which streams flow, hidden landscapes through farmland, bogland and over small hills, and are rarely far from a road. They are provided with stiles, gates and bridges wherever necessary. The Slieve Bloom Way is best accessed at one of five key trailheads, which provide information map boards and car parking.

Walking Calendar

The Slieve Bloom Walking Club organise walks every weekend of the year. All of these walks are led by an experienced and friendly walk leader who is very familiar with the mountains. These walks are post to the Walking calendar weekly.
