Other Walks
There are a number of other very attractive walks in the Slieve Blooms and it’s environs. There are three way-marked walks and a viewing platform at the Ridge of Capard. These are part of the Slieve Bloom Way and provide some amazing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Lough Boora Discovery Park also offers a number of trails ranging from a short stroll to longer treks to take you through all this wonderful park has to offer. These walks can be enjoyed by all age groups.
Walking Calendar
The Slieve Bloom Walking Club organise walks every weekend of the year. All of these walks are led by an experienced and friendly walk leader who is very familiar with the mountains. These walks are post to the Walking calendar weekly.
A panel of guides are also available if you are are looking for a personal leader who can tailor-make a walk to suit your party or group.
